Application
1,4-Dioxane CAS 123-91-1 is used as solvent, reaction medium and extraction agent in the manufacture of special fine chemicals such as medicine, cosmetics and perfume, as well as in scientific research.In Japan, the product is mainly used as a stabilizer of 1,1, 1-trichloroethane with an added amount of 2.5-4%; Secondly, it is used as reaction solvent for polyurethane synthetic leather and amino acid synthetic leather.The solubility of this product is strong, similar to dimethylformamide, stronger than tetrahydrofuran. As a solvent for cellulose acetate, resin, vegetable oil, mineral oil and soluble dye, etc., also is used in the production of spray paint, varnish, plasticizer and lubricant, etc.
