Epoxy resin curing accelerator DMP-30 (CAS 90-72-2) is 2,4,6 tris (Dimethylaminomethyl) phenol, which belongs to tertiary amine curing agent. Production Mehods

Add phenol and 40% dimethylamine aqueous solution into the reactor, stir and mix evenly, cool to below 20 ℃, slowly add 30% formaldehyde aqueous solution under stirring, and control it below 30 ℃. Continue stirring at 25 ~ 30 ℃ for 1h, then raise the temperature to 90 ~ 95 ℃ and reflux for 2h. Salt is added to separate the water phase, and the oil layer is separated for vacuum fractionation to obtain the finished product. The content of industrial products is more than 95%.

Application

The catalyst belongs to polyisocyanurate (PIR) reaction catalyst, and its catalytic selective activity for PIR reaction is higher than pur, so it is mostly used in the formula of polyisocyanurate reaction. Its characteristics can help the foaming rising curve become regular and have good fluidity. It is suitable for the injection molding reaction of polyisocyanurate. The product is a catalyst with weak activity, with large dosage in the formula, mild reaction, stable rise and good fluidity. The product has PIR high temperature resistance and flame resistance. It can be used to prepare composite materials.
