Overview
Chloroquine phosphate is a 4-aminoquinoline antimalarial drug, which can inhibit the nucleic acid synthesis of Plasmodium schizonts, interfere with the growth and reproduction of Plasmodium schizonts, and effectively kill the schizonts in the red stage of Plasmodium.
Application
Chloroquine phosphate can be used to treat falciparum, vivax, and vivax that are sensitive to chloroquine. It can also be used for suppressive prevention of malaria symptoms. It can also be used to treat extraintestinal amebiasis, connective tissue disease, photosensitivity disease (such as sun erythema) and so on.
