Under normal temperature and pressure, the product is a colorless, clear and volatile liquid with a scent
of ether and a sweetish flavor. Its melting point is 40 oc. Its density is 1.336g/cm3 at 20 oc. It is soluble
in ethanol and ether but slightly in water.

Application
It has strong solubility and no toxicity, etc advantages.
A. It is wide used for manufacturing safety film and orthocarbonate
B. can also be used for solvent of paint, cleaner for metal, gasfog spray agents, polyurethane
foaming agent, mold release agent, paint remover.
C. Dichloromethane is also used in the manufacture of photographic film and has been used to
remove caffeine from coffee.
The product is packed in galvanized steel drum or tanks. It is to be kept in dry and well-ventilated
place, away from sunlight and raining.
