Chemical nature
Colorless or slightly yellow oily liquid. The boiling point is 210°C (0.67kPa), 175°C (0.27kPa), 167°C (0.130kPa), the relative density is 0.990 (20/4°C), and the refractive index is 1.4470. The flash point is 193°C. It is soluble in most organic solvents, slightly soluble in glycols, and insoluble in water. Has a special smell.
Application
Used as a cold-resistant plasticizer for various resins, especially polyvinyl chloride and vinyl chloride copolymers, and as a raw material for aviation grease
