Physical and chemical properties
Antimony trioxide is a white crystalline powder that turns yellow after heating, white after cooling, and odorless; melting point is 655°C, boiling point is 1425°C. Sublimation when heated to 400℃ under high vacuum. It is soluble in sodium hydroxide solution, hot tartaric acid solution, hydrogen tartrate solution and sodium sulfide solution, slightly soluble in water, dilute nitric acid and dilute sulfuric acid. The relative density is 5.67. The median lethal dose (rat, oral)>20g/Kg, may cause cancer.

Application
As a flame retardant, it is widely used in plastics, rubber, textile, chemical fiber, paint, paint, electronics and other industries. It is also used as a catalyst and production material in the chemical industry.
